My relative female age 35 year diagnosed on 16 Oct 2017. Her wbc was 79000 and splenomegaly up to 15 m.m., after total diagnosis she treated to imatinib 400 per day up to 6 month and after one day after dose of imatinib after 3 month means up to novermeber 2018 2 tablets in a week,. During this treatment she was fine and her WBC and other teat was going normal except some itching and swelliy on eyes which was not worrying condition, but now now in December 2018 her HB level down 3.5 and blood transfusion done of 3 unit. All other blood reports went up and down and low WBC went up to 1 mm. In 16 October 2018 the HB level was normal up to 11 but in one and half month its dropped drastically,

Some times there are secondary conditions that are developed after CML such Aplastic Anemia and MDS. She probably needs to be checked for both of these with another bone marrow test or sometimes these conditions can be seen with a simple blood smear test
